To all who have served our country past or present, we want to thank you for all that you do and have done. We are free and safer because of your bravery and selflessness.
May God bless all of you.

Here Goes, Jalapeno Cheese Crisps:
This is a quick and easy recipe for when you just need something salty and crunchy to snack on, but won't cause you any guilt. There are only 2 ingredients.
Serves 1
Nutrition: 95 calories, 16grams protein, 7grams carbs, 0 grams fat
Ingredients:
1/2 cup shredded, Kraft Fat Free Cheese
2 tablespoons of sliced pickled or fresh jalopenos
Directions:
1) Spray large cookie sheet with spray olive oil to coat thoroughly
2) As if you were making cookies, take 1 tablespoon of the shredded Fat Free cheese
and distribute evenly in small mounds across the cookie sheet, allowing room in between each so they can spread out as they melt
3) Take 1 jalopeno slice and place it on top of each mound of cheese
4) Place cookie sheet under oven broiler and broil until cheese bubbles and the cheese edges brown slightly
5) Remove from oven and allow to cool. Remove each Jalopeno Crisp from the cookie sheet with a spatula. Nibble slowly and Enjoy!
Don't forget to turn off your oven.
Until Next time!

As the controversy continues to linger among the representatives of our government regarding healthcare reform, one message has become More glaringly clear to me than ever. You cannot afford 'not' to take care of yourself. Yes, there will always be those medical issues which we never asked for, nor had any control over (an accidental fall with a broken bone; the development of a cancer despite the fact that you never smoked, trauma due to a motor vehicle accident, etc....). Despite these potential, unforeseen hazards and tragedies that can possibly affect any of us, there are many things that you and I can DO to avoid many of the medical pitfalls which may not be as written in stone as we may believe. If you don't smoke, don't start...If you do smoke, do your best to quit...(we know smoking leads to lung disease, accelerates coronary disease and can and does cause CANCER. If you eat poorly, clean up your diet. Eat more vegetables, less fat, less 'fast food' and less of the food that you KNOW is bad for you. If you don't exercise regularly, then start. You may have to start by walking on a daily basis. See your doctor if you have any question about your ability to start an exercise program safely, but guess what, your doctor most likley wants you to exercise, eat well and take care of yourself. If you are unhealthy because you are overweight or obese, your doctor almost assuredly wants you to lose weight. You have more control over your health and ability to stay healthy than you think. Our current system is heavily geared toward 'Ill-Care' and that is what we are all paying for. Taking care of ourselves is the most 'affordable' means of keeping healthcare costs down. Do yourself a favor and take responsibility for Your Own Health Care, and Care for Your Health.
All the Best.
